Proefles

Altijd al willen vliegen? Laat die droom niet weg vliegen en boek snel een proefles en ervaar hoe het is om zelf een vliegtuig te besturen. Dat kan, aiRFurste bied die mogelijkheid vanaf vliegveld Lelystad. Ter beschikking staan 2 persoons vliegtuigen (Cessna C150) of 4 persoons vliegtuigen (Cessna C172 of een Piper 28).

Hoe gaat het in zijn werk. Een proefles begint met een theorie les die ongeveer 30 minuten duurt. De instructeur legt uit hoe het kan dat een vliegtuig op kan stijgen en hoe dat vliegtuig vervolgens in de lucht kan blijven. Ook legt de instructeur uit hoe de besturing werkt wat heel belangrijk is omdat jij dat zelf in de lucht mag gaan doen, stijgen, dalen en bochten maken. 

Na de theorie sessie gaan we naar buiten het platform op waar het vliegtuig al staat te wachten. De riemen gaan vat en de motor word gestart en we krijgen toestemming om naar de startbaan te taxiën. Daar worden de laatste controles uit gevoerd en dan komt het moment dat wij toestemming krijgen om op te stijgen en eenmaal in de lucht vliegen wij het gebied uit naar een mooie hoogte van ongeveer 600 meter (1800 foot). Schrik niet als de instructeur ineens zegt “Your control” en vanaf dat moment mag jij de besturing over nemen. De tijd vliegt en voordat je het weet word de landing ingezet en staan wij weer voor de hangaar. In het les lokaal zal de instructeur een debriefing geven en vervolgens krijg jij een vel begeerde Luchtdoop certificaat uit gereikt. Die glimlach blijft nog wel even aanwezig.

Trailflight

Always wanted to fly? Don’t let that dream fly away and quickly book a trial lesson and experience what it is like to fly an airplane yourself. That is possible, airFurste offers that possibility from Lelystad airport. Available are 2 person aircraft (Cessna C150) or 4 person aircraft (Cessna C172 or a Piper 28). How does it work. A trial lesson starts with a theory lesson that lasts about 30 minutes. The instructor explains how it is possible for an aircraft to take off and how that aircraft can subsequently remain in the air. The instructor also explains how the controls work, which is very important because you will do that yourself in the air, ascend, descend and make turns. After the theory session we will go outside to the platform where the plane is already waiting. The belts fastened and the engine is started and we will need to get permission to taxi to the runway. There the final checks are carried out and then the moment comes when we are allowed to take off and once in the air we fly out of the area to a nice altitude of about 600 meters (1800 feet). Don’t be alarmed if the instructor suddenly says “Your control” and from that moment on you can take control. Time flies and before you know it the landing is set in and we are back in front of the hangar. In the classroom, the instructor will give a debriefing and you will be handed a certificate  to show you were the pilot in command. That smile will remain for a while.
